See the Heart is a social enterprise committed to helping children become resilient to the damaging messages from mainstream media, that tell them that they are not good enough as they are. We offer bespoke, full-day programmes to primary schools within Leicestershire and surrounding areas, consisting of interactive pupil workshops, assemblies and staff training. These programmes enable children to understand, from an early age, that their worth is not dependent on the way they look and helps those who care for them to understand how they can support this message. This will help to ensure that children are able to meet their potential – academically, physically and socially – and, crucially, protect them from body image issues that are so often the cause of poor mental health and illnesses in later life.
